Information About CIE Tours Travel Insurance Coverage

 Price:  $169 per person (must be purchased at time of initial deposit for trip)

CIE Tours International always hopes that its customers have a safe and worry-free vacation. But there are times when unforeseen events might occur.  For instance, what if:

• You or a traveling companion get sick before or even during the trip? 
• Your passports or documents are stolen?
• You incur medical expenses on your trip? 
• You are in a foreign country and you need medical or emergency assistance?

CIE Tours International’s comprehensive insurance program is designed to help you in emergency situations such as these.  Since CIE considers this coverage important for you, CIE requires the cost of the insurance coverage to be paid with your initial deposit unless you decide not to take the insurance. The Benefits include:           

• Tour cost (land & air) trip cancellation & interruption                 
• $500 missed connection    
• $100 trip delay per day/maximum $500                                  
• $100,000 medical expense/emergency assistance                                   
• $250 baggage delay (24 hours or more)
• $2,000 baggage and personal effects

Note: This travel insurance is optional – it is not required, but if you decide to take it, it can only be purchased at the time of deposit.
