Situated in the middle of the island near Dun Aonghus and its new visitor centre, this 150-year-old stone country house is one of the Aran Islands' longest-established 3-star guesthouses. Perched on a hill on the harborfront, it is the first lodging that greets visitors as they step off the ferry and walk along the pier from the dock to the town centre. Proprietors Maura Joyce offers 10 guest rooms, with panoramic sea and landscape views, and outfitted with modern amenities such as TV and phone. On the road between Kilronan and Kilmurvey, this dormered bungalow-style
B&B has 6 non-smoking guestrooms, of which 5 are en suite and 1 is standard;
